Does your Kefir contain sugar?

Our Kefir does not contain any added sugar or additives. The only sugar comes naturally from the fresh milk (lactose), and most of it is consumed by the good bacteria during fermentation. As they break down the lactose, it turns into lactic acid — which gives the Kefir its tangy taste. What remains is just a tiny trace of lactose.
