Answer: To determine the exact tax amount, a comparison must be made between the amount of the Monthly Tax Deduction (PCB) deducted and the tax payable. If the PCB paid is insufficient, then the amount of the difference (i.e. between the amount of the PCB and the tax payable) must be paid to the IRBM.
