Answer: SBIT Training Academy is one of the skills training centres managed by Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran Malaysia (JPK) under the Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR). We offer a dual certificate program in two years. Our students can choose either to obtain a certificate issued by a US or local university in addition to a SKM certificate. SBIT has been collaborating with Global University for Lifelong Learning (GULL) to offer our students a certificate issued by a US university. We partnered with Linton University College, a private local university, later in 2022, providing our students with one more certification body to choose from. We also offer part-time study to fit in your work commitments. Since our government continues to support technical and vocational education and training (TVET) development, there is an increase in the number of skills training centres, but some of them are not recognised by the government. The ones registered with the Malaysian government are easily distinguishable because they have “edu.my” at the end of their weblink.
