Answer: English plays a crucial role in the IT world, so it will inevitably be our main teaching language. Even if you have a bad command of English, don’t fret, it will not affect your studies here at SBIT. In fact, the students can quickly adapt to the learning environment since Chinese students constitute 98% of our total student population, and our lecturers are able to converse in Chinese, or simple English and Malay. We encourage our students to ask the lecturers clarifying questions if they face any academic difficulties. They can rest assured that our lecturers will try their best to assist them.
